Most women consider themselves caregivers for their family, but who takes care of them? Understanding the signs and symptoms of common gynecological issues allows women to seek and receive medical care early so they can continue caring for others. This is especially true when it comes to gynecologic cancers such as ovarian cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, one in 71 women are at risk for developing ovarian cancer; however, recognizing potential signs of this cancer and receiving advanced treatments can keep a diagnosis from becoming potentially life threatening.
Join Dr. Larry Kilgore, gynecologic oncologist, and Dr. Robert Elder, obstetrician and gynecologist, as they discuss a wide variety of women’s health topics.
This program is free, but registration is required by calling 305.6055.
Free parking.
