Karen A. Grindle of Oliver Springs, Tenn., is thankful for discovering the importance of breast health education. Now a survivor of breast cancer, Karen lives her life to the fullest with her husband, kids, family and friends. However, in 2003, her world changed when she decided at the last minute to escort a woman to a Breast Health Outreach Program presented by the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
