Anxiety. Confusion. Frustration. Those can be the symptoms of trying to handle your medical appointments at a hospital—but not at UT Medical Center, the region's only academic medical center.
UT Medical Center offers free Healthcare Coordination dedicated to serving you. Not only will we make your appointments for you, we will send you patient packets, provide maps and pick you up at the door to walk you to your appointment, if needed.
All of this service is free to you! Just like a personal assistant, a healthcare coordinator will help facilitate and coordinate your appointments. All you have to do is make just one call—even if you need several doctors or services.
Members of the Healthcare Coordination team assist you before, during and after your visit to UT Medical Center. Healthcare Coordination performs the following services.
- Match you to the right physician to meet your unique needs.
- Coordinate single or multiple appointments.
- Confirm appointments with a follow-up letter.
- Prepare you for your visit with a map of the hospital included in your patient information packet.
- Accompany patients to appointments upon request; on-site courtesy shuttle service available.
- Offer family members information on local hotels and restaurants.
