Cole Neuroscience Center Internship Program

The Cole Neuroscience Center offers an internship program for undergraduates and graduates who are eager to learn more about the medical fields of neurology and geriatrics. Interns have the opportunity be an integral part of the neurocognitive evaluation team at the Cole Center. Cole Neuroscience Center accepts interns into the program who exemplify the values of the University of Tennessee Medical center and who are eager to learn from a real-life neuroscience experience.  Interns must demonstrate their ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner while remaining sensitive to the needs of patients and families.

Cole Neuroscience Center Internship program provides interns an opportunity to participate in hands-on experiential learning while assisting the region’s healthcare experts in the areas of Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and others neurological disorders. Cole interns receive specialized training in a battery of neurocognitive exams used in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.  Interns are also involved in the collection of neurocognitive data for clinical trial research.
