The Center for Women & Children's Health is a hub for supporting women's and children's individual healthcare needs. The center provides support, research and unmatched patient-centered care.
Emergency and Trauma Services is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area and serves as the tertiary referral center for medical care in East Tennessee, serving Knox County and 21 surrounding counties.

Outpatients should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their first visit in order to complete the registration process.
Audiology
Unsedated ABR — Babies between the ages of one week and six months need to be scheduled for an auditory brainstem response test. Times are scheduled whenever the baby sleeps naturally. Pre-test instructions include the following.
Sedated ABR—Children over the age of six months who cannot be tested using behavioral methods. These must be coordinated with the critical care nursery. Pre-test instructions include the following.
Hearing Tests—Children over six or seven months corrected age (corrected age means the age they would be if they were born on time).
Hearing Screens—ALGO’s or OAE’s require baby to be asleep for 30 to 45 minutes.
CAPD Evaluations—Scheduled when the child is alert and awake.
