A family event creating awareness for prostate cancer
Join us on Saturday, August 27th for The Man Run presented by Regal Entertainment Group. 100% of the proceeds benefit prostate cancer and men's health research, outreach and educational programs in East Tennessee.The Man Run is a 10k, 5k and a fun run/walk.
September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.The 2016 American Cancer Society report estimates there will be 180,890 new prostate cancer cases diagnosed in 2016. In Tennessee, there will be over 3,370 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed this year. One in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and is responsible for more deaths than any other cancer, except for lung cancer.
The Man Run features a 10K and 5K race and a half mile fun walk as well as entertainment along the course, and a special recognition breakfast for prostate cancer survivors and their loved ones. 100% of the proceeds stay in East Tennessee for prostate cancer and men's health research, outreach and educational programs provided by the Cancer Institute and urologists at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Both the 5k and the 10k are certified by the USA Track and Field.
Registration from 7:00 – 7:45 am; 10k race begins at 8:00 am followed by the 5k and ½ mile fun run/walk at 8:15

T-Shirts: Pre-registered runners (registered by August 20th) will receive an event shirt at packet pick-up. Late registrants will receive a t-shirts as supplies last.
After Party: Awards ceremony will immediately follow race. Refreshments will be available
