Emergency and Trauma Services is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area and serves as the tertiary referral center for medical care in East Tennessee, serving Knox County and 21 surrounding counties.

A Certified Lactation Consultant is available to see patients in the hospital after delivery Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Outpatient services require a doctor's order and an appointment.
