Cardiac – Adult

  • Myocardial revascularization, on and off bypass
         - CABG using SUG, ITA’s, RAG’s (radial) (mammary)
         - TMR (transmyocardial laser revascularization)
         - Endoscopic vein harvest
         - Repair of LV aneurysm
  • Aortic valve replacement
  • Aortic root replacement with and without valve replacement
  • Aortic arch replacement
  • Descending aortic surgery
         - Traumatic aortic injuries
         - Aortic dissections
         - Aortic aneurysm
  • Repair of cardiac injuries
  • Mitral valve repair and replacement
  • Tricuspid valve surgery
  • Use of mechanical valves, bioprosthetic pericardial valves, homograft valves
  • Removal of cardiac tumors
  • Surgical ablation using radiofrequency for chronic atrial fibrillation
  • Insertion IABP and ventricular assist device
  • Pericardial resection or drainage

 

Congenital

  • Repair aortic coarctation
  • Repair aortic stenosis – valvular, subvalvular, supravalvular
  • Close PDA
  • Repair ASD, VSD
  • Repair tetrology of fallot
  • Repair A-V canal
  • Perform systemic to pulmonary artery shunts
  • Pulmonary artery banding
  • Repair aortic arch abnormalities – double arch
  • Biodirectional Glenn shunt

 

Minimally Invasive Adult and Pediatric Heart Surgery

  • Aortic valve replacement, mitral valve replacement or repair
  • Tricuspid valve replacement or repair, ASD closure

 

Robotic Heart Surgery

  • Mitral valve repair

 

Thoracic

  • Open thoracotomy and video assisted thoracic surgery (VATS)

 

Lung Surgery

  • Resection for cancer or benign disease
  • Emphysema surgery – pulmonary reduction, bleb resection
  • Chronic pneumothorax

  • Resection of non-pulmonary chest tumors, benign and malignant

 

Esophageal Surgery

  • Resection for benign and malignant tumors
  • Repair of hiatal hernia
  • Repair of achalasia
  • Repair of spontaneous or iatrogenic rupture

 

Repair of traumatic chest injuries
Repair of chest skeletal deformities
Diagnostic procedures
– bronchoscopy, cervical mediastinoscopy, Chamberlain procedure
