Fuzzy, cuddly and, best of all, he’s comforting. Key-mo bear brings joy to the chemotherapy patients and staff at UT Medical Center’s Cancer Institute. He arrived as a gift from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The stuffed bear became mascot to the outpatient chemotherapy unit several years ago, but quickly developed and now has photo album after photo album of his many adventures with patients and staff that take him on vacation. Key-mo has traveled across the country and overseas.
Key-mo has an extremely large wardrobe, which includes special occasion outfits for St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween and even a tuxedo that he recently wore for an orchestra performance.
Key-mo loves to travel and will accompany anyone on their trip with one catch: He has to bring back lots of pictures.
