Visitors can help to lift a patient’s spirits and speed recovery, but hospitalized patients also need plenty of rest. We encourage visitors to observe the guidelines of specific patient care areas. Questions can be directed to the unit’s nurse manager.

• Bringing children to visit
  Because some nursing area’s visiting hours may vary, please check with your nurse. When accompanied by adult, children under 12 years of age may visit between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Children must be supervised at all times. Doctors may also limit visitation hours in any area for medical reasons.
• If you are ill
  Please avoid visiting patients if you have a cold or other possibly contagious illness.
• Visiting hours
  General visiting hours: 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  Pediatric floor: open visitation.
• Visiting the Critical Care Units (ICUs):
  Critical care units have special facilities and services for the observation and care of critically ill and injured patients. Because of the special nature of these units, access is limited.
  • Flowers, radios and portable televisions are not allowed.
  • In some cases, we will hold your mail or give it to your immediate family
  • Doctors may also limit visitation hours in any area for medical reasons.
• Visiting The Life Center (maternity services):
  In the Labor & Delivery area, 24-hour visitation for two people at one time; up to four at delivery with physician's permission. Once mother and baby move to postpartum floor, follow general visiting hours guidelines.
