Critical Care Lounges for family members of trauma patients are located on the second floor of the Trauma Center. Receptionists are available to answer questions and help in any way possible. Patient visitation lounge policies are as follows.

• Two family members per patient in lounge.
• Minimum age for visitors is 14 years of age.
• Two family members may visit for 20 minutes at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.
• Cell phones are allowed.
• Obtain an updated condition on your patient from receptionist at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
• Coffee and tea are available in lounge.
• Vending machines are located outside the lounge.
• AllSpice Café is located on the hospital’s first floor.
• Shower facilities are available on the ground floor.
• The UT Medical Center Gift Shop is on the first floor by AllSpice Café.
