Fruit Kabobs

3 medium bananas
1 pint strawberries
1 (6 oz) bag dark chocolate
¼ cup chopped nuts (almonds, pecans or walnuts)
Wooden Skewers

 

  1. Slice bananas into chunks. Wash and dry strawberries. Make sure skewers are appropriate size for 4 banana chunks and 4 strawberries. Place bananas and strawberries on skewers.
  2. Heat chocolate in glass bowl in microwave oven on high for 1 minute, stir, heat additional 15 second intervals until chocolate is melted.
  3. Drizzle chocolate over fruit kabobs. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired. For more variety, use white and dark chocolates.
