Iced Peach Green Tea

Serving size: 1 cup

4 cups water
8 regular green tea bags
2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
2 cups cold water
½ cup splenda or honey to sweeten (optional)

Place sliced peaches in a saucepan, add 4 cups of water, and heat until almost boiling. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 5-6 minutes.

 

Remove teabags from water, squeezing gently. Stir in 2 cups cold water and sweetener, stirring until sweetener dissolves.

 

Allow the tea to cool, then refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Serve over ice. Include a few peach slices in each glass and garnish with a sprig of mint.
