As a medical center employee, you will enjoy a generous leave package that includes holidays, annual, sick and personal leave days that assist employees with balancing work and family responsibilities.
- Annual leave: Full-time exempt staff accrue 24 days per year with a maximum carryover of 42 days. Full-time non-exempt staff accrue a minimum of 12 days a year to a maximum of 20 days per year with the maximum carryover of 42 days. Regular, part-time employees accrue annual leave on a pro-rata basis.
- Sick leave: Leave is accrued at 10 days per year with no maximum carryover. Regular, part-time employees accrual sick leave on a pro-rata basis.
- Sick Leave Bank: This is a bank to assist employees who have exhausted all of their accrued leave. The lifetime benefit is 45 paid sick leave days granted from the bank.
- Holidays: We currently offer six paid holidays, they are: New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Regular, part-time employees are eligible for the holidays on a pro-rata basis.
- Personal Leave Days: We offer up to three days per year based on employee’s hire date.
