The Guardian Angel program so far has received more than 100 Guardian Angel donations honoring doctors, nurses and other UT Medical Center staff and Graduate School of Medicine staff. These individuals have been given special recognition from the patients and families they have served for their outstanding care and compassion.

The following comments are from Guardian Angel donors that have honored their caregivers through the Guardian Angel program.

“I was in there for 3 weeks and when she worked she made me feel like everything would be okay. I told her at the beginning that I wanted her to be with me if anything happened. Three weeks later, 1 hour into shift change, I had my babies and she was with me all the way. She was my Guardian Angel.”
“My wife, passed away recently. She always checked on her and came to visit her. She took time to help me and presided over my wife’s memorial service. She is a wonderfully compassionate person.”
