Gifts may be made in a variety of ways including cash, check, or credit card. Members of the UT Medical Center Family may also make gifts through payroll deduction options.
Gifts may also be made in a variety of other ways as listed below. Some gifts may require assistance from your accountant, counsel, or financial advisors to insure maximum tax deductibility.
All gifts to UT Medical Center and The UT Graduate School of Medicine qualify as charitable gifts and are deductible to the exempt of current IRS guidelines.
- Outright Gifts by check, cash, credit card or payroll deduction
- Outright Gifts using appreciated real estate or securities may provide significant tax savings
- Gifts Creating Charitable Trusts, annuities, or other similar vehicles have special appeal and present the opportunity for larger gifts.
- Gifts in memory or to honor a loved one represent a special way to say you care and you remember
- Bequests in your will may be designated to benefit patient care, education and research by designating a percentage or specific amount from your estate. These gifts also result in estate tax savings.
