Welcome to UT Day Surgery where you will have surgery, recuperate under highly trained and experienced staff supervision including surgeons, nurses and anesthesiologists, and return home the same day. UT Day Surgery in Knoxville, Tennessee, allows easy access to our comprehensive services performed by experienced professionals with advanced surgical techniques and medical technology in one convenient location.
Many surgeries that once required an overnight stay at the medical center, now are offered through our day surgery, greatly reducing overnight hospitalization for comfort and convenience of its patients. Same day surgeries allow faster recovery and the patient to safely return to his home to maximize recovery. The staff is sensitive to the unique needs of same day surgery patients and provides a warm setting with a personal, patient-focused service, making procedures more comfortable.
UT Day Surgery is conveniently located on the first floor of Medical Building D, part of the University of Tennessee Medical Center campus.
Our operating hours are 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
