A Knoxville, Tenn., native, Dr. Douglas L. Davis is an internal medicine board-certified physician at UT Internal Medicine – Pellissippi in Knoxville, Tenn. Although originally from Knoxville, Dr. Davis attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn., for medical school, and he completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Memphis.
He was inspired to become a doctor because his father was a physician. “I mostly enjoy talking with my patients and getting to know them,” he says.
Dr. Davis and his wife, Janet, have three children: Adam, Austin and Nathan. He enjoys hiking in his spare time.
