Dear The University of Tennessee Medical Center,

In what is the most difficult time of year to keep in good health, the holiday season brings laughter, joy and a lot of stress and changes in eating and exercise routines. But right now - just before we are knee deep in the hustle and bustle - is the time to collect some ideas for keeping yourself healthy throughout the season. I know how difficult it is, so I have packed this issue of Healthy Living with tips and suggestions on how you can keep not only your body in good health but your spirit as well.

Falls prevention, flu myths and adding exercise into your every day routine will help keep your body in shape, not to mention the delicious recipes that will help keep your holiday tables healthier. And, to keep those spirits up, read about some wonderful programs that will warm your heart while helping others and honoring loved ones.
