The Center for Women & Children's Health is a hub for supporting women's and children's individual healthcare needs. The center provides support, research and unmatched patient-centered care.
Emergency and Trauma Services is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area and serves as the tertiary referral center for medical care in East Tennessee, serving Knox County and 21 surrounding counties.
The Heart Lung Vascular Institute brings together expertise in clinical care, teaching and research. Patients receive exceptional healthcare combined with patient-centered care.

Nursing Jobs with the Advanced Commitment Registry
These staff members work within a service line or specific population. There are 6 areas to choose from:
REGULAR
Limited number of participants. A minimum of 250 hours per calendar quarter are required with no maximum hours required. Weekend requirements are 57.5 hours per calendar quarter. Holiday commitments include 3 (11.5 hour) shifts per year for a total of 34.5 hours. UHS employees are eligible for retirement, insurance and education assistance. Advanced Commitment Registry employees are not eligible for paid leave (annual, sick, holidays, personal days, etc.).
TERM
A minimum of 195.5 hours per calendar quarter are required with less than 1,000 hours per year (250 hours per calendar quarter). There are 57.5 hours per calendar quarter required for weekends and 3 shifts of 11.5 hours per year (34.5 hours total) are required for holidays. Employees are not eligible for benefits.
