The Center for Women & Children's Health is a hub for supporting women's and children's individual healthcare needs. The center provides support, research and unmatched patient-centered care.

Emergency and Trauma Services is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area and serves as the tertiary referral center for medical care in East Tennessee, serving Knox County and 21 surrounding counties.

The Heart Lung Vascular Institute brings together expertise in clinical care, teaching and research. Patients receive exceptional healthcare combined with patient-centered care.

Wall of Hope
In the spirit of compassion, care and hope, we invite you to become a Wall of Hope member and create a place of healing for cancer patients and their families from East Tennessee.
Wall of Hope members in your community are joining together to aid the patients, families, and staff at the University of Tennessee Medical Center’s Cancer Institute as they work together to overcome the challenges of cancer. Wall of Hope members support the Cancer Institute’s treatment, research, education endeavors, and to:
- Centralize cancer services – diagnostics, patient care, research, treatment, support services, physician offices and educational programs;
- Improve access for patients and their families;
- Increase physical space to accommodate patients and families, facilitate cancer research opportunities, and recruit leading cancer researchers and specialists;
- Expand outreach services.
As a Wall of Hope member you demonstrate your commitment to exceptional healthcare through your gift of $1,000 to the Cancer Institute and support our efforts to enhance cancer care in our region.
Wall of Hope members will be recognized in several ways; most notably is within a tiled mural located by the Radiation Oncology Department within the new Cancer Institute Building. This inspirational, one-of-a-kind mural will provide families your message of hope and commemoration in a beautiful piece of artwork.
