Benefitting the Center for Women and Children's Health ![]()
An Evening In Orange is a black tie gala and benefit auction supporting the University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT Graduate School of Medicine’s continued efforts to expand and lead the region in excellence of patient care, cutting edge research, and training and education of tomorrow’s health professionals. In the four-year history of An Evening in Orange, the community has come together to raise just over $2 million in support of UT Medical Center programs such as the Medical Simulation Center, the Brain and Spine Institute, the Cancer Institute, and the region’s first dedicated Heart Hospital.
An Evening in Orange is not only the UT Medical Center’s premier fundraising event, it is the top fundraising event of our region, earning over $1 million last year in support of our Cancer Institute. This year’s event was held on May 12th of 2012 at Neyland Stadium benefitting the Center for Women and Children’s Health at UT Medical Center, with a majority of funds allocated towards the second phase of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit’s renovation.
