The Center for Women & Children's Health is a hub for supporting women's and children's individual healthcare needs. The center provides support, research and unmatched patient-centered care.
Emergency and Trauma Services is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area and serves as the tertiary referral center for medical care in East Tennessee, serving Knox County and 21 surrounding counties.
The Heart Lung Vascular Institute brings together expertise in clinical care, teaching and research. Patients receive exceptional healthcare combined with patient-centered care.

The University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT Graduate School of Medicine provide a variety of opportunities for corporate philanthropic giving and recognition. Through matching programs or special event sponsorship, corporations are able to greatly impact healthcare throughout Knoxville and the greater East Tennessee community, impacting thousands of lives and while also fostering a healthier community for their employees.
The University of Tennessee Medical Center and the UT Graduate School of Medicine accepts in-kind gifts of support once reviewed and approved by the University Health System, Inc. and/or the University of Tennessee. In-kind gifts of support can include (but are not limited to) special services for events, items for silent/live auctions, artwork, equipment and other items deemed usable.
The tax-benefit worth of an in-kind donation is to be determined by the donor. Receipts of donation stating the in-kind donation item will be provided by the Development Office to the donor.
The Medical Center and Graduate School of Medicine reserves all rights to decline offers of in-kind gifts.
Various naming opportunities are available throughout the Medical Center and UT Graduate School of Medicine. The opportunities provide a long-term venue for corporations to give special tribute, display a corporate logo or name, or a unique marketing opportunity displaying their support of excellence in healthcare.
Corporate naming opportunities are available on physical structures like conference rooms, recognition walls and patient care areas/equipment. Special named endowments and named gift-directed funds are also available for corporate donors.The University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT Graduate School of Medicine are a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit agencies and qualify under many corporate matching gift programs. Throughout the year, the University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT Graduate School of Medicine host special events that give corporate donors an opportunity to provide event sponsorship while also expanding their marketing campaigns. Sponsorships are available at a variety of levels, support an assortment of hospital programs and are at different types of events.
Philanthropic opportunities are also available for corporations and corporate foundations to give monetary gifts in support of programs at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT Graduate School of Medicine. Corporate annual gifts will be recognized through The 1956 Society and the corporate name will be listed recognized through a variety of ways such as event invitations and honor roll listing on the Benefactors Mural.
