Inspiring UT Medical Center Cancer Specialist Featured in East Tennessee Medical News

A driven and passionate doctor, Mazen Y. Khalil, MD, is an inspiration to many, including his family. This month, the East Tennessee Medical News featured Dr. Khalil in its Physician Spotlight, honoring a man who has lived up to his dreams.
Khalil is a physician in oncology / hematology with Oncology Hematology Consultants, PC at University of Tennessee Medical Center and an assistant professor in the hematology/oncology division at The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and enjoys spending time with his wife and son, running, gardening and cooking. His areas of special interest include smoking cessation and lung cancer.
