Catering to You is the patient dining service at the University of Tennessee Medical Center offered through Morrison’s. This dining service offers the freedom and flexibility to make dining selections right from the patient’s room. Catering to You is designed specifically to support patients’ health, quality of life and the recovery process during hospitalization.
How This Service Works
Shortly after admission, each patient is greeted by his Catering Assistant and introduced to the Catering to You service. This service allows UT Medical Center to cater to its patients’ needs and desires by personalizing menu selections close to mealtimes and adding a special touch to their meal service experience.
An exciting and unique aspect of Catering to You is the decentralization of services that allows a personalized approach to dining service. The catering assistant is consistently assigned to the same unit, subsequently becoming part of the nursing team, working closely with both nurses and registered dietitians. There are many benefits to this service.

The Catering to You dining service, which can be located on UT Medical Center’s Skylight TV in each patient room, allows you to make your own food selections in conjunction with personal dietary requirements and experience the freedom you deserve.
