Knoxville moms, dads and soon-to-be parents!
Join the University of Tennessee Medical Center on Sept. 27 for its annual Knoxville Baby Show. Whether you just had a baby, are pregnant now or are planning to have a baby, the Knoxville Baby Show will feature education and health tips for maintaining good health throughout your pregnancy and childbirth.
The free Knoxville, TN, pregnancy and birth event offers tasty food, children’s crafts and games, face painting, education, helpful tips, child safety packets from the Sheriff's Department, a mother/baby fashion show and prizes. This free event is open to the public and takes place at 10 a.m. at UT Medical Center Plaza at Northshore and Pellissippi in Knoxville.
Mothers and mothers-to-be alike can take advantage of educational sessions under the Big Top that will include health topics such as pregnancy, healthy eating for families, Ask-a-Doc, exercise during and after pregnancy, pregnancy stages, pregnancy symptoms, what to expect when you are pregnant, baby health check ups and information and other childbirth and pregnancy topics and resources. You also can find out more about prenatal classes and baby classes.
The Knoxville Baby Show offers excellent education as well as fun for the whole family. Available products and services such as health screenings and product demonstrations and expert resources will be available from vendors, including Ask-a-Doc, Healthcare Coordination and various physician practices.
