University Gastroenterology and the Cancer Institute invite you to view the “Super Colon” and learn about colorectal cancer prevention and awareness. The Super Colon will be available Feb. 27 and 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the East Pavilion Breezeway.
Come walk trough a replica of the human colon, revealing healthy tissue, non-cancerous disease, precancerous polyps, colon and rectal cancer.
The Super Colon is designed to raise awareness about the prevention and early detection of colorectal cancer. Learn what you can do to decrease your risk of developing colorectal cancer and the screening options available.
The display and information is free and open to the public.
