The Transplant Center held its annual pediatric clinic on Monday, Dec. 1. The halls of the Transplant Center were filled with children and youth. Laughter and smiles were on the menu for the day as Santa and Mrs. Claus also made their entrance.
The pediatric clinic is held each year as a time for the patients to see Dr. Mitchell Goldman, vascular, adult pediatric transplant surgeon, to see the patients in clinic and to evaluate their progress. Throughout the years performing kidney transplants, Dr. Goldman and the transplant staff have had the opportunity to watch the patients grow from infant to toddlers, youth and young adults.
With the support and care from Pediatric Nephrologist Dr. Mari-Carmen Malagon, and other medical disciplines as needed, the patients are able to maintain a quality lifestyle, including attending school and participating in school activities.
Special thanks to the following for making this years’ Pediatric Clinic a success.
