Freedom From Smoking Class Begins in March

The upcoming Freedom From Smoking classes will begin in March at the University of Tennessee Medical Center’s Cancer Institute. Times and days are subject to majority preference.

Freedom From Smoking is an eight-week FREE clinic that has become the “Gold standard” of smoking cessation programs. This class recently was published in the UT Tennessee Journalist, published by the College of Communication and Information at the University of Tennessee. “Need to Quit Smoking” acknowledges Freedom From Smoking, a program founded by the American Lung Association, as a “very successful program” with more than 50 percent of the November 2007 class at UT Medical Center having quit smoking.

You will be asked to pay a $50 deposit, which will be returned to you after successfully attending all of the sessions, whether you quit smoking or not.

The class will take place in 4th Floor Conference Room at the Cancer Institute at UT Medical Center.
