There are 20 million American adults with chronic kidney disease and another 20 million are at risk. In East Tennessee, one in nine people have kidney disease and another one in nine of us are at risk. Be part of the Knoxville Kidney Walk & Funathlon weekend fundraiser to raise awareness of kidney disease and support the programs of the national Kidney Foundation serving this area.
This two-day swimming, cycling and walk event starts on Sat., Mar. 21 for swimming and cycling. Check-In for swimming is at the UT Swim Center (Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center) and Biking Check-In is across from the UT Swim Center in Parking Lot # 7. The Kidney Walk Check-In is at The Cove in Concord Park on Sun., Mar. 22.
