Checking for heart disease with cardiac calcium scoring

Cardiac calcium scoring uses a computed tomography (CT) to check for the buildup of calcium in plaque on the walls of the arteries of the heart. This test is used to check for heart disease in an early stage and to determine how severe it is.

Join Dr. Bret Rogers and Dr. Jeffrey Peeke on April 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, as they discuss the importance of coronary artery disease prevention and cardiac calcium scoring.

The program will take place at Messiah Lutheran, 6900 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN

The program is FREE, but registration is required by calling 865.305.6877.
