Emergency and Trauma Services is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area and serves as the tertiary referral center for medical care in East Tennessee, serving Knox County and 21 surrounding counties.

Celebrate 100 years of UT Baseball while learning about stroke and skin cancer

Join UT Medical Center for a day at the ballpark on Sun., Apr. 26 at 1 p. m. when the Vols take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. Before and during the game, the Cancer Institute and the Brain and Spine Institute will provide community education related to skin cancer and stroke prevention. The medical center team will also be conducting blood pressure, BMI and skin cancer screenings. Condredge Holloway, assistant athletic director at UT, will throw out the first pitch. Holloway has been a partner with the Stroke Center for several years.
Members of UT Medical Center’s “Nurses’ Notes” choir will sing the National Anthem prior to the game and entertain during the 7th inning stretch.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online at University of Tennessee's Online Ticket Office.
Kids under 17 are admitted free on Sundays.
