UT Medical Center places third in the 2009 Fittest Corporate Challenge

The results are in! The University of Tennessee Medical Center came in third place in the 2009 Fittest Corporate Challenge! The challenge presented by the Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership was an opportunity for friendly competition among area businesses during all the marathon events.
For each employee who finished the race, the medical center received 1 point per mile finished. For a full list of corporate finishers visit Corporate Challenge. An award will be presented to the team by the Knoxville Chamber.
We congratulate our 8 marathoners who ran 26.2 miles (3 competed in their first marathon), 25 half-marathoners, 16 completed the 3.1 mile course and 9 completed in the relay competition.
