The Center for Women & Children's Health is a hub for supporting women's and children's individual healthcare needs. The center provides support, research and unmatched patient-centered care.
Emergency and Trauma Services is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area and serves as the tertiary referral center for medical care in East Tennessee, serving Knox County and 21 surrounding counties.
The Heart Lung Vascular Institute brings together expertise in clinical care, teaching and research. Patients receive exceptional healthcare combined with patient-centered care.

Although we’re still in the heat of summer, it’s already time to think about fall and Race for the Cure! This annual event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 at World’s Fair Park. If you can’t participate that day, sign up to “Sleep In for the Cure” to support an important cause and you’ll still receive an official Komen race shirt by mail.
Online registration is now open so sign up for the UT Medical Center team through the link below. Save $5 before early bird registration ends on Aug. 31. Friends and family can join, too, and all medical center team members who register online will be entered for a chance to win a pink portfolio set valued at $50.
New for 2009! Operation Pink T-shirts are back by popular demand! Team t-shirts will be available only to registered team members and will cost $10 each. After you register for the UT Medical Center team, you will receive a team t-shirt order form by email. Your purchase of a team shirt allows the Breast Health Outreach Program to reserve vital funds to provide free mobile screening services for women in need.
