After a serious car crash and 2 months in a coma, 16-year-old Sequoyah Smith returned home to a sea of green in the form of t-shirts, balloons, signs, bracelets and more. After a lengthy stay at The University of Tennessee Medical Center, Smith’s friends, family, church members and other members of the community, welcomed her home after months of praying she would recover from her life-threatening injuries.
The lime green – Smith’s favorite color – began showing up at the medical center to show support for her recovery as friends and family prayed for her recovery. That unity then branched out to other patients in need of prayers and support.
Against the odds, doctors expect Smith will make a full recovery.
