On Dec. 10, the Tennessee Valley Ensemble played a lunchtime concert in the AllSpice Café at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The Tennessee Valley Ensemble is a community of players of all ages, musical interests and backgrounds who enjoy making music together. Established in 1994, the ensemble plays under the direction of Sandy Wells, musical director.

Other groups making appearances at the medical center this holiday season included the Suzuki Heartstrings, students of Kathy Hart Riley; and the Webb Madrigal Singers who performed on Dec. 15 in the main lobby and around the medical center.
