We provide a comprehensive continuum of cancer services, including prevention, outreach, diagnostic, treatment and support services delivered by our highly skilled staff with compassion and care.
The Center for Women & Children's Health is a hub for supporting women's and children's individual healthcare needs. The center provides support, research and unmatched patient-centered care.
Emergency and Trauma Services is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area and serves as the tertiary referral center for medical care in East Tennessee, serving Knox County and 21 surrounding counties.
The Heart Lung Vascular Institute brings together expertise in clinical care, teaching and research. Patients receive exceptional healthcare combined with patient-centered care.

The 2009 holiday season heralded a number of events bringing cheer to patients, families and staff at the Cancer Institute. On Dec. 15, the first ever “Holiday Celebration” was held at the Cancer Institute. Musicians and singers that included patients, staff and community members provided an all-day musical concert in the Cancer Institute waiting room. Hot cider and holiday treats were served, and the day was complete with a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Clause.
Musical performances continued to flow at the Cancer Institute as a trio from the 200-member Grace Worship Orchestra treated patients and visitors to a holiday music concert on Dec. 18. The following week, 5th grade students from Sacred Heart Elementary School surprised Cancer Institute patients with handmade heating packs crafted from rice grains encased in decorative fabric.
Patients, families and staff all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday celebrations. We thank the following individuals and groups for their contributions that brighten the season for many.
