Emergency and Trauma Services is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area and serves as the tertiary referral center for medical care in East Tennessee, serving Knox County and 21 surrounding counties.

Learn how to satisfy your cravings with samplings of our healthier sweet creations from Healthy Living Kitchen on March 12 at 12:30 p.m. Special guest Chef Walter of WVLT-TV will join the Healthy Living Kitchen team to demonstrate heart-healthy indulgence.
“We’re so excited to have our good friend Chef Walter in the Healthy Living Kitchen with us for our Spring Treats cooking class,” said Jane Kelly, RN, CWPC, nurse specialist and lifestyle counselor for the Healthy Living Kitchen team. “We will show our guests that day how to use substitutions such as agave to make healthier treats.”
Advance registration of $15 includes nutrition advice, samples and materials.The Healthy Living Kitchen staff includes Senior Executive Chef Mark McKinney; Cardiac Nurse Specialist Jane Kelly, BSN, RN; and Dietitian Janet Seiber, RD, CDE.
The Healthy Living Kitchen is located in Suite E-170 in the Heart Lung Vascular Institute at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
