Cancer Institute nurses earn certification and re-certification in their fields

 

Recently, several nurses in the Cancer Institute either became certified or recertified in their respective fields.

 

Chemotherapy nurse Beverly Sutton passed the exam to become ONS certified while Cindy Hansard completed all requirements to receive her ONS recertification.

 

Breast nurse navigators Cat Clayton and Melanie Priode also completed the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC) course on clinical breast exams to become recertified by NCBC.
