As part of the 2010 National Nurses Week celebration, The University of Tennessee Medical Center named 18 of its outstanding nurses who serve as examples of the top leaders and exceptional professional nurses in the organization. These 2010 Nurse Excellence Award winners will represent UT Medical Center at the Regional Cooperative for Professional Nurses Week Nurse Excellence Awards Banquet held at the Convention Center in Knoxville.
The nurses were nominated by their peers and selected by the Nursing Recognition Committee based on their dedication, exceptional clinical practice and distinguished contributions to the nursing profession. The skilled, compassionate and hard working award winners were nominated because their outstanding patient care and dedication stood out to their peers.
Congratulations to all of the award winners for their professional achievements!
