The next Healthy Living Kitchen cooking class will focus on following a gluten-free lifestyle and preparing delicious gluten-free recipes. Special guest Janet Prince, author of My Gluten-Free Knoxville, will share tips on local gluten-friendly grocery shopping and dining out, as well as recipes, anecdotes and local resources for information and support. The gluten-free diet is the only treatment for celiac disease.
The Gluten-free cooking class will take place on Aug. 11 at 12 noon in the Healthy Living Kitchen, Suite E-170 in the Heart Lung Vascular Institute at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
UT Medical Center's Celiac Center provides ongoing nutritional guidance and support for people with celiac disease.
Meet our kitchen staff, which includes Senior Executive Chef Mark McKinney; Cardiac Nurse Specialist Jane Kelly, BSN, RN; and Dietitian Janet Seiber, RD, CDE.
The class is located at the Heart Lung Vascular Institute, Healthy Living Kitchen, Suite E-170 at UT Medical Center.
