Sharpen your cooking skills at the Culinary Workshop

 

Join the Healthy Living Kitchen team and special guest chefs for a healthy cooking workshop on April 16 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m in the Heart Hospital Conference Room at UT Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee. Discover ways to make healthy foods taste sensational, see cooking demonstrations and learn new techniques and skills.

Sessions include  

  • Demonstration on simple low-fat recipes 
  • Improving your knife skills 
  • Healthy grocery shopping tips
  • Learn how to select quality produce 
  • How to make healthier meals
  • Lunch and demo samples
  • Complimentary parking
  • Goody bags

 

Instructors include the Healthy Living Kitchen team members: Senior Executive Chef Mark McKinney; Cardiac Nurse Specialist Jane Kelly, BSN, RN; and Dietitian Janet Seiber, RD, LDN, CDE.
