Free Stroke Awareness Community Presentation on May 8

In the U.S., stroke is the fourth leading cause of death, killing over 133,000 people each year. Stroke and cardiovascular disease combined are the leading cause of death and permanent disability among Americans. Controlling risk factors for stroke and learning to recognize symptoms can save a life and limit disabilities. Join Dr. Scott Stevens, Vascular Surgeon, and Dr. Brian Wiseman, Neurologist, to learn more about reducing your risk for stroke, recognizing the warning signs and learning the appropriate measures to take if you or a loved one is experiencing stroke like symptoms.

This program is free, but registration is required by calling (865) 305-6970. Complimentary self-parking available in Parking Garage H. Please enter through Heart Hospital main entrance and proceed into the Heart Hospital Conference Room. For a campus map, click here.
