The University of Tennessee Medical Center is proud to announce the opening of the Tennessee Weight Loss and Surgery Center, a bariatric surgery program. The office is located at the UT Medical Center campus in Medical Office Building A, Suite 240.
The medical center welcomes new staff members Deborah Beck, coordinator; Tesa Finn, registered dietitian; and Alisha Slimp, patient account specialist.
Dr. Gregory J. Mancini serves as the program medical director. Referrals can be made to the program phone number, which is 544.WELL (9355) and the fax number is 544.9168.
The center held its first seminar on July 19, 2007, and it was well attended. The seminar provides an opportunity for individuals interested in bariatric surgery to receive information on minimally invasive surgical options.
