Event Date: Feb. 9
Heart valve disease occurs when the heart's valves no longer work effectively to regulate blood flow, either by leaking or by not opening properly. Faulty valves generally create murmurs and other abnormal heart sounds that a doctor can hear with a stethoscope, but may require surgical treatments.
Join Cardiothoracic Surgeon Jeffrey E. Everett, MD as he discusses the latest advances in the surgical treatments of heart valve disease on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at Messiah Lutheran, 6900 Kingston Pike (across from PF Chang’s).
The program is free, but registration is required by calling 305.6877. |
