Whether your stay is short- or long-term, UT Medical Center wants to make sure you, your family and friends are comfortable and that you have access to conveniences. During your stay, you or your visitors may need access to food, ATMs, telephones, gifts, newspapers, etc. Be sure to ask if you cannot find the services you need.

UT Medical Center is concerned about your health and safety. With that in mind, patients need to follow the instructions and good advice of their doctor and all patients and visitors need to follow the hospital’s safety rules.

You are a partner in your hospital care. When you are well-informed, participate in treatment decisions and communicate openly with your doctors and other health professionals, you help make your care as effective as possible.

Visiting Hours

Visitors can help to lift a patient’s spirits and speed recovery, but hospitalized patients also need plenty of rest. We encourage visitors to observe the guidelines of specific patient care areas. Questions can be directed to the unit’s nurse manager.
