Spiced Apples
Serving size: ½ cup
2 ¼ cup fresh apples, peeled and diced
¼ cup Splenda
1 ½ Tbsp. water
1 ½ tsp. lemon juice
½ cup raisins
¾ tsp. cinnamon
Place apples in saucepan. Add Splenda, water, lemon juice, raisins and cinnamon. Stir well to blend. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture begins to thicken. Cook until apples are tender and internal temperature reaches 140 degrees.
Portion ½ cup apple mixture in each serving dish. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve warm.
