Health Break - Skin Cancer

Can you name the largest organ in your body? Surprise! It’s your skin, and protecting it from sun damage is vital for good health. Skin cancer is the most common cancer. Begin protecting yourself and your children by avoiding the sun between 10 in the morning and four in the afternoon during the summer months. Wear a sunscreen with an SPF factor of 15 or higher. Wear a shirt, hat, and sunglasses outdoors. And always report darkly pigmented spots or suspicious or changing moles to your physician. Remember, early detection saves lives.
