Stroke is one of the nation’s deadliest killers, but did you know it often works with an accomplice? Delays. Second guessing. Ignoring symptoms. With stroke, every second is precious. Know the warning signs. Sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body. Sudden confusion or trouble speaking. An inability to focus one or both eyes. Severe, unexplainable headaches. When you hesitate to call, you give stroke the time it needs to do its damage. Call 911 at the first sign, and let’s stop this killer in its tracks.
