The Center for Women and Infants is the regions primary referral center for High-Risk Perinatal, a designated Level III intensive care nursery and newly renovated mother/baby unit that serves as a one stop for new mothers and families. Phase II of the expansion project will bridge this new beginning with the future of the Medical Center's NICU and, more importantly, provide even greater hope and promise to at-risk infants, sick and premature babies, and families throughout East Tennessee.
